Pittsford Town Court Justice

As Pittsford Town Justice, Judge Ansaldi has presided over thousands of cases, both criminal and civil, along with landlord-tenant matters. His knowledge of the law and community-based resources have allowed him to get at-risk individuals into treatment faster and has made me the judge that many of his colleagues turn to for advice. His leadership has been recognized by his election as Vice President of the Monroe County Magistrate’s Association. His experience and knowledge of the administration of justice has prepared him to serve as a County Court Judge.

Principal Law Clerk to Judge Michael Dollinger in Monroe County Court

For nearly the last five years, Judge Ansaldi has served as the Principal Law Clerk in Monroe County Court to County Court Judge Michael Dollinger. As Judge Dollinger’s right hand, they have led the way by handling more felony-level cases than any other superior criminal court in Monroe County. They have done this by acting not just as ‘umpires calling balls and strikes,’ but also by utilizing our diversion treatment courts, where compassion meets accountability, to be problem-solvers. Programs, such as the Judicial Diversion Program and Veterans Court, reduce recidivism, save lives, and make our community stronger.

Trial Lawyer

As a trial lawyer, Judge Ansaldi was involved in cases ranging from low-level offenses to murder cases in courts across our county and state, including through the Assigned Counsel Program for individuals unable to afford an attorney. He frequently utilized the problem-solving diversion courts to get clients help with the underlying problems that allowed them to avoid being permanently labeled with criminal records. As a civil attorney, he represented small businesses here in our community to help them create jobs and grow our economy, and individuals as they bought their first home, planned for the future, or, in their times of need, fought for civil justice.
